Cutter suction dredgers
Overview
Stationary dredgers that loosen material with a rotating cutter head and pump the slurry through a discharge pipeline. Used for capital and maintenance dredging, sand extraction, and land reclamation. Commonly built in a dismountable, modular form so sections can be transported by road and reassembled on site.
